For ten years I was just a twenty minute drive up the mountain from Cedar Breaks National Monument. Five years after moving to Michigan I finally had the opportunity to go back with a camera. It was a stunning day to say the least, one that made me realize how much I truly miss the mountains.

For all you nerds out there I’m calling it: The Cloud.

Angels Landing Trail, Zion National Park. One of my favorite spots on the planet. It’s not quite the high untrespassed sanctity of space, but every time I climb it I still feel as though I’ve reached out and touched the face of god.

Just got back from SXSW — Austin definitely lives up to its reputation as killer town full of music. Here are the pics that made the first cut in my digital lightroom (Adobe Lightroom is by far my favorite piece of software ever).
