This is the blog of Brooks Andrus. Here, at irregular intervals, you may find digital noise centered around the activities of an early 21st century technologist. I work for TechSmith Corporation, but this web space and the views found on it are entirely my own.

@Tim - wow, there's a lot to cover there. ;-) I've been mulling over how to best answer this question--not sure I can do it in the blog comments. My particular setup is geared towards quick and dirty videos using Jing (sometimes I cheat and do post-production work in After Effects, etc.), but Camtasia should serve you well (not as quick and simple, but you can get higher quality vids out of it).

Let me see if I can come up with some videos that cover my workflow / tools. In the meantime I'll point you at some links:

Camtasia Studio Learning Center

Camtasia user-to-user forums:

I saw one of your videos on how to imbed flash using Kimili on Wordpress. I am new to blogging and I want to share technical training videos via my blog.

I have purchased camtasia studio, have a web host (dreamhost), and was planning on using wordpress.

In your video you mentioned using links for higher resolution. I just want my video to look good. What would I need to do to emulate what you have done with the video in this site?

Thank you in advance
