This is the blog of Brooks Andrus. Here, at irregular intervals, you may find digital noise centered around the activities of an early 21st century technologist. I work for TechSmith Corporation, but this web space and the views found on it are entirely my own.

Wow! Very well done, I must say! You see a lot of people talking about Favre's records, and you know what? He sure has a lot of them. But that's not why Favre is #1 with me.

He is #1 with me because of the way he played the game. Who has more fun playing football than Brett Favre? Who has more passion? Who has more heart? Who is more real? Who is a better ambassador for the game?

The records may have made Brett great, but it's the other things that made him special.

Thanks for posting that! I enjoyed reading it and remembering why we love Brett Favre!

He will be remembered as not only one of the greatest players of the game but he was the most entertaining to watch. Who else would high five a ref. I think he would have taken the pack all the way next year. He will be missed and i dont even think ill watch football every sunday anymore.

Well spoken. Don't forget his great camaraderie with those who were trying to make him miss a few starts. His banter with defensive linemen, like Strahan, Sapp, etc, was so much fun to watch.

He was awesome. Great person, great player, great leader.
