Making Jing SWF Videos Auto-Start

If you are embedding Jing video content on your website sometimes its preferable to have the video autostart instead of showing the reflecting click to play thumbnail. If that’s the case, you just need to pass in a parameter via flashvars or the url query string. Here’s a Jing video sans audio which shows you a couple of different ways to accomplish this.

If you prefer screenshots here’s a couple that convey the basic idea.

Is there ways to change the default Jing swf presentation to e.g. static picture or tell the swf “display frame XX upon entry”?. Is there a swf parameter (like autostart) that I can use?

Wondering if I can something else then the default thumbnail with the play icon.

Now because the documentation I work on can be printed Jing embedded movies does not come out that well… :)

  4. Can you provide the code in text, so that it can be copied and pasted
